Jane Friedhoff

Jane Friedhoff is a game designer, coder, and creative technologist who loves making experimental games, toys, and experiments that encourage silly behaviors in public spaces and spark new relationships between people. She co-founded the Code Liberation Foundation, which provides free game programming classes to women and non-binary people, and has received commissions from New York University, Play NYC, and the Peabody Essex Museum to create her riot-grrrl-style games. She has worked at the NYTimes R&D Lab, the Office for Creative Research, and the Google Creative Lab. If a project involves screaming, awkwardness, or dance parties, she’s probably into it.
