Emily Xie likes to program visuals with code. She enjoys using p5.js and Processing, as well as integrating sensors in her work to capture data from the surrounding environment. In 2016, she did an artist’s residency at the Brooklyn-based experimental arts and sciences center, Pioneer Works, through their technology department. In her spare time, Emily enjoys gaming, cooking, reading, and lifting.
