Brian Clifton

Brian Clifton (he/his) is a data science practitioner and critic of data science, and was formerly a conceptual artist and graphic designer. His work is an investigation into the detrimental effects of machine learning systems on our society. He creates projects that illustrate how fundamental human biases exist throughout purportedly objective machine learning applications, while focusing on who benefits from the deployment of these problematic systems. Brian is based in New York City.
