To promote workplace gender diversity and encourage greater gender diversity on corporate boards, State Street Global Advisors built a statue of a fearless girl adjacent to the statue of the famous charging bull on Wall Street. The fearless girl statue became a global phenomenon, generating 4.6 Twitter impressions, 745 Instagram impressions, and a petition to establish the statue permanently at the Wall Street location.
