Cancer patients often struggle to find work due to software used by recruiters and human resources departments to automatically reject resumes containing blank periods or indications of disease. Cancer@Work developed The Unstoppable Resume campaign on LinkedIn to help cancer patients highlight the invaluable soft skills they learned while fighting the disease. Cancer survivors can create their resumes on a dedicated LinkedIn platform that helps fill in the blank spaces with white-on-white keyword soft skills that will be recognized and accepted by recruitment software and help get the applicant in front of a human recruiter.
