Belgium beer company Primus used Tinder to convince people to date at the bar with a beer rather than date online.
The brand got some single girls to set up Tinder profiles with their last profile shots proclaiming: “A dating app. Come on. Just grow some balls and chat up a girl at the bar instead.” The company further helped hopeful suiters by sending them a Tinder moment offering two free beers at a Primus bar.
Thousands of “guys” encountered the Primus Tinder message, and some of them took advantage of the free offer “with good company.”
