Headspace – Reword

In a campaign targeting online bullying, Headspace created an app that puts a red line through potentially harmful speech being crafted on social media by children. The red line serves as a prompt to make kids reconsider what they are saying before posting the message. Reword recognizes a wide range of insults and disparaging commentary and children are invited to add to the program’s database.

In its first six weeks of use, Headspace reported that 84% of insults were reworded and bullying behavior was reduced by 67% per user.
