Honda – #Pintermission

To promote the auto company’s new CR-V’s “get out and live life” tag line, Honda challenged the top five Pinterest influencers to take a 24-hour break—“#Pintermission”—from the social media platform and actually do the things they pinned about. The brand offered the influencers $500 each for completing the challenge and pinning photos of their break on Honda Pinterest boards. The company also posted numerous inspirational Pintermission suggestions targeting the wider Pinterest community.

At a cost of $2,500 the campaign generated 16 million total media impressions and reached 4.6 million people on Pinterest.
