Discrimination against women in positions of leadership is a global issue. State Street Global Advisors called on companies to have greater gender diversity on their boards. They raised awareness by building a statue of a fearless girl adjacent to the statue of a famous charging bull on Wall Street.

The statue became a smash hit, generating 4.6 billion Twitter impressions and 745 million Instagram impressions in 12 weeks. 38,000 people signed a petition to establish the statue permanently in its location.
