Fiat – Parking Billboard

Parking in a tight space can be challenging and sometimes requires a friend or stranger to help. To show that Fiat 500’s parking assistant technology is as good as a friend, Fiat developed an interactive video billboard using the same software and sensors as developed for the car. Actors were filmed making various gestures to correspond to the sensor technology. As a car manoeuvred into the park, the ‘friend’ on the screen could gesture and assist the driver to park correctly.

During the campaign, demand for Fiat models with parking assist systems increased by 14% and the awareness led to a reduction in the number of dented bumpers.
