AJAX, the household cleaning brand, created a social media scrubber – a tool that you could use to clean up all of this dirt. It could scan your Twitter followers for bots and allow you to unsubscribe and unfollow problematic or annoying accounts in bulk.

AJAX’s digital scrubber helped remove over 200,000 Facebook pages and 20,000 Twitter spam bots in the first week of its release, with people spending five minutes on average using the tool and therefore engaging with the brand.
