A great way to show how you save customers money, is showing how your company saves it with thrift & ingenuity. Esurance passed on savings of $1.5 million to one lucky person. Instead of placing an ad during the Super Bowl game, they ran it in the first spot after the game, saving $1.5 million, which they then gave everyone a chance to win by tweeting #esurancesave30.

Over 200,000 people tweeted in the first hour, with #esurancesave30 becoming the top Twitter trend in the world. In 36 hours there were 5.3 million tweets, with 550 million media impressions and 2.6 billion social impressions.
