Hitman – Kill This Ad

Gamers prefer a more meaningful, interactive experience than what a traditional ad can offer.

To promote the new assassination video game, Hitman, the game manufacturer replaced the “skip this ad” button on YouTube with “kill this ad”, allowing viewers to choose one of several ways to kill the game’s antagonist, Wolfsharl. If viewed in its entirety, the ad unfolded with a 30-second storyline.
