Dagoma wanted to solve the problem of millions of broken toys ending up in the landfill every year. The 3D printer manufacturer identified those parts of toys most frequently lost or broken, from barbies, action figures, Pokemon, Star Trek ships, board games and more. They got the manufacturers to create digital files of the pieces and offered them as free downloads at toy-rescue.com. There are now more than 100 models available.
