The Dalí Museum in Florida brought the surrealist himself back to life for the 30th anniversary of his death. Far from surreal, AI Dali was a realistic portrayal built from archival video footage combined with the facial expressions of an actor with similar physical attributes. Visitors could ask questions to Dali from multiple screens around the museum and receive a response modelled from his own writing and present-day information.
