National Geographic – First Ever 3D VR Filmed in Space

National Geographic created a compelling 3D-VR viewing experience when they deployed the first VR camera into space. It accompanied astronaut Paolo Nespoli aboard the International Space Station and captured his unique worldview. It was used to promote the new documentary, One Strange Rock, which was a ground breaking look at life on our planet as told by Will Smith and a group of famous astronauts.
